Face-2-Face 2004

Pupils took part in a Homestay programmed for a period of about 10 days. Prior to the actual visit, they communicated with each other by means of e-mail and a forum set up on an ICT Platform. Information of their own country was available (as URLs) and students were encouraged to ask questions. Students also planned an itinerary for their guests, which included cultural experiences.

Collaborative work included designing the webpage together, writing and illustrating stories or poems, creating new games based on traditional games of both countries, and producing artwork to be made into postcards. Sweden volunteered as hosts for a group of 10 students from Malaysia, and a return visit was also planned.
