Traditional Medicine for Common Ailments

As part of this project students were invited to explore the various ways people from Asia and Europe treat/cure common ailments using traditional methods. The objective was to understand and appreciate traditional knowledge that has been effective at treating these ailments from generation to generation. Common cures were collected for each ailment, including an explanation about their effectiveness – thus allowing for an appreciation of the scientific aspects of traditional medicine. As common cures often vary from country to country, it was interesting and worthwhile to document and share this.
