Description |
The rationale of the Chain Stories project was to allow the students to have fun while writing a story, and at the same time have the opportunity to learn about different genres as they explore the English language. Each chapter ended with a polar question; whether the character “should do something” or “shouldn’t”. Then there were two groups to continue the story. One group continued as if the person “did something” and another group continued as if they “didn’t”. Both groups then ended their chapter with a choice as well, and this cycle continued. The students decided themselves how long the story should be. An illustration could also be created along with the new chapter. The final product was an interactive “book” where each student can decide how the story will continue. |
