Year 2003

Description

The project aimed to raise awareness of different cultures and to help students learn more about the cultures of participating countries, especially from the perspective of the teenager. Students used ICT skills in the research and presentation of their project, as well as during the communication with participants from different countries. Topics that fostered curiosity, creativity and initiative including home, school and leisure were discussed.

The participating countries posted the materials they collected on web pages, often in the form of a diary, including pictures and video clips wherever possible. A forum or bulletin board / video conference / web chat were other possible means of exchanging information between participating countries.

Based on the exchange and working on a given budget, students proposed a 5-day itinerary as hosts of a cultural and educational visit by members of participating countries. Thereafter, an actual or virtual visit took place.
