Cultural Kaleidoscope 2006

One of the AEC Award winning projects at the 5th AEC International Teachers’ Conference, the Cultural Kaleidoscope 2006 project brought together students from schools in both Asia and Europe for a one-week conference in Kuala Lumpur from 27 February to 3 March. Each school identified a few participating students and an accompanying teacher. During this week, students learnt more about the Malaysian culture as well as other cultures through various special activities held in the school. They also learnt local craftwork and learnt to play traditional games. During this conference, students collaborated in mixed groups to produce work, which showed the integration of their various cultures. Their final work was displayed in all schools
