Fan Page Fun Time

Modern day heroes do not just exist in science-fiction novels and films. They actually live in our own regions and across our two continents. These extraordinary men and women, waiting to be hailed and sung about, are the heroes about which we wanted to teach in our schools. Through this project, the students shared information, opinions and creative works about these heroes. Students connected with each other via Facebook apps, gathered information, generated timelines, discussed heroic issues, made puzzles and games, created multimedia presentations and advocated causes relating to these heroes. They did all this while having some fun learning, sharing and living in this borderless world.
