Festival of Festivals

A festival is an event celebrated by a community that center’s on some characteristics of that community and its religion or traditions. It serves as an avenue to showcase the distinct culture of the place. Festival of Festivals is the collaboration among Asian and European schools to share their knowledge and experience about festivals in their respective country or region. Students were required to submit a photo and write-up regarding their unique festivals through the Facebook Group. The collected pictures and articles were used to teach communities about unique festivals found in Asia and Europe, which gave insights on the cultural similarities and differences between the two regions. All submissions were compiled to make a book that summarizes Asia and Europe’s cultural identity through its festivals.
