Filming Project

“Filming Project” was strongly based on group work in an attempt to eliminate stigma against those with learning or physical disabilities, to bridge gaps among mixed-ability learners, to enhance English and Art in syllabuses, and to stimulate both teachers and learners of English. Each participating school conceptualized and produced a short film or a TV commercial, facilitated by the designated teacher coordinator. An EFL teacher helped simplify the language in case there were students who did not feel comfortable with their level of proficiency in English. What the project needed primarily was a camera, imagination and spirit.
