Description |
The “Filming the Web of Life” project turned the spotlight on biodiversity through the concept of “we need each other”, and that any sign of life on Earth is inseparable from the chain of life. It aimed to sensitize young students, future citizens of this planet, towards their role in weaving the ‘Web of Life’ starting from their closest webs. More specifically, the project approached the issue of biodiversity from another perspective; that of the webs humans weave around them. For example, to sustain life we might create art webs, business webs, community webs, cultural webs, education webs, environmental webs, everyday life webs, family webs, friendship webs, health webs, nature webs, or spirit webs. In general, this project focused on mutual respect and responsibility within local communities and regions, as well as at the broader international level. |
