Go 4G – Learning on the Move

The project tapped into the power of mobile technology to create “learning trails” for outdoor environmental education activities that incorporated the appreciation of art, local culture, etc. as a teaching technique. A trail was created by selecting outdoor locations that are conducive for learning. Each location became a learning trail “pit stop” where a set of activities can be conducted based on a prescribed objective and/or environmental theme. Completed trails could be shared with other students/schools or any person who downloaded them on the Trail Shuttle™ app using their mobile device. Everyone had the opportunity to discover learning journeys as designed by participating students.
