Description |
The project tapped into the power of mobile technology to create “learning trails” for outdoor environmental education activities that incorporated the appreciation of art, local culture, etc. as a teaching technique. A trail was created by selecting outdoor locations that are conducive for learning. Each location became a learning trail “pit stop” where a set of activities can be conducted based on a prescribed objective and/or environmental theme. Completed trails could be shared with other students/schools or any person who downloaded them on the Trail Shuttle™ app using their mobile device. Everyone had the opportunity to discover learning journeys as designed by participating students. |
