Going by Sea

The project was aimed at people and countries that have a strong relation with the sea (islands, peninsulas, countries bathed by the sea). The idea was to share knowledge, stories, anecdotes, facts, photos, lifestyles, and food, based on life near the sea (Coastal cities , regions, countries e.g.) and to see the sea not as an obstacle, but as a means of unifying cultures and traditions. The sea has fantastic stories of great men and women from both hemispheres. The students shared traditions whose origins we often don’t know (and which revealed surprises in some cases). The students also shared proverbs, songs, recipes, photos during the course of this project.
