Description |
A family is built on local foundations, but now exists in a truly global era. In this global era, a family has to understand and, in some cases, assimilate with the values and cultures of other people around the world. Yet, every family has retained their own customs and values, and thus it was interesting to analyze family values and culture, in the face of global attitudes. As the world becomes global, what happens to existing family customs and values? Are there any family customs and values that are incompatible with what is needed to be a global citizen? The essential question is ‘How are families, with their local customs and values, going global?’ |
