Going Global Family

This project was about exploring family values and culture in Asia and Europe. Students reported the uniqueness of families and shared it with other students from all around the world. The project was divided into weekly topics such as family activities, habits or celebrations, so that students could not only analyze the differences and similarities in the families, but also formulate family values and culture for the ‘Going Global Asia-Europe Family’.

A family is built on local foundations, but now exists in a truly global era. In this global era, a family has to understand and in some cases assimilate with the values and cultures of other people around the world. Yet, every family has retained their own customs and values, and thus it was interesting to analyze family values and culture, in the face of global attitudes.
