Guess the Code

Title Guess the Code
Theme Science and Technology
Year 2016
Status Completed
Award
Description

All applications are programmed. Programmers write codes and implement algorithms for these applications. This is not magic; it is teachable. How do computers store data? What kind of algorithms or methods are running in the background when I click? How do spreadsheets and graphical programmed work? If you face problems with an application, you have to think about how it works. Read the code and find out how 0.2 – 0.2 is not exactly zero. This online collaboration gave food for thought, answering many questions and addressing many problems faced by students when using every-day IT applications.
