International Village – Thumbs Up for SketchUp!

The architectural style of buildings (e.g. churches, houses) differs from country to country. Students generally do not realize that the style of their houses is related to their own culture. In this project, they learnt more about the historical backgrounds of the buildings in their own country and the styles that exist. In addition, they learnt what the differences and similarities are with other countries. The project also had a large practical component in which the students learnt to work with the 3D modelling software SketchUp.
