Language – A Mantle of Communication, Level 2

This online collaboration follows up on the success of the first edition in 2015, “Language: A Mantle of Communication, Phase I”. In the second edition of the online collaboration students appreciated how each language system works and how contact between different languages has enriched culture. Why and how do languages borrow lexical items from one another? While using examples from a number of languages, the main focus was on English to connect students from different countries.
