Description |
The “Living Paintings” project aimed to bring arts to life and help students understand cultures from Asia and Europe. The students prepared the replication of a minimum of two chosen paintings; one from their own nation and one from the other region. In both cases, students first chose a painting, and then, with the real-life actors frozen in place, took a photo or a video clip. Many paintings have elements with symbolic meaning, and with the brief explanations, the students were able to understand and ‘read’ the art correctly. The project helped students develop a better understanding of Asia Europe culture in general. |
