The aims of the project were to: (a) raise awareness about the social and environmental impact of industry and enterprise locally and globally; (b) create an awareness among participants about the similarities and differences between industry and enterprise in the different regions of the world; (c) give students and teachers in participant countries a greater insight into their own local industry and enterprise; (d) develop students’ communication and research skills through a virtual learning environment; and (e) encourage the use of ICT in the curriculum and in extra and cross-curricular activities in schools and colleges. |
