Description |
We often talk about historic or national landmarks but what do those terms really mean? This project allowed students to identify, obtain and share information about their respective countries’ landmarks. Participants were able to review how the designation of such landmarks evolved, what it means for their country and how it helped shape the nation and the culture. They chose at least 1 landmark and engaged in meaningful discussions about the landmark with students from other participating countries. They subsequently discussed how to promote knowledge and appreciation of the selected landmark among their fellow students, as well as to people of other countries. They also explored possible marketing techniques such as the use of banners, advertisements, and different media through the use of ICT Tools such as Photoshop, Moviemaker, etc. |
