Description |
Rivers are life-giving arteries of our countries and are also important parts of our environment. The main task of the “Protection of River Biodiversity” project was to create partner groups of students from Europe and Asia that have serious interest in the protection of nature. These groups chose a river from their surroundings and found out information about springs, river basins, overflow, flora and fauna, quality of water, and pollution of river and environment. They created a survey of information which included photos, videos and presentations. These materials were shared among the participating groups to come up with a strategy to protect the river biodiversity of their chosen rivers. |
