Description |
Science Beyond the Classroom was a pioneering intervention for high school students in science. The activities of this project sought to prove that proper intervention in the teaching-learning process would bring positive effects on student’s learning, motivation and attitudes. In particular, the intervention was designed to involve and empower selected high school students, aged 14-18 years old from Asian and European schools. They planned, designed, and developed programs that would primarily stress the application of science knowledge and life skills to the environmental demands of their localities. The whole project highlighted information and communications technology is an important means of linking partner schools. |
