Teddy Travels

This project aimed to foster tolerance and understanding of cultures other than your own, using teddy bears. Students learnt more about their own culture through the various activities they organized for the resident and visiting bears. Each participating school produced a bear of their choice. In clusters of 4 schools, made up of schools from both Asia and Europe, the bears were sent on a world trip, visiting each school in their cluster. The maximum time spent in each school was 4 weeks. In the 5th week, the bear was sent off on his travels to the next participating school for his/her next adventure.
