The Nature’s Pharmacy Project

Traditional and indigenous knowledge systems across cultures include understanding and actual utilization of the medicinal properties of plant species. This led people to believe and respect nature to the extent of mystifying it, resulting to the preservation and cultivation of plant species. The Nature’s Pharmacy Project promoted the preservation of indigenous knowledge on traditional medicine, and at the same time understanding sustainable development through conservation and preservation of the environment.
