Description |
In the “Travel Journalists’ Passports” project, the students assumed the role of travel journalists who explore ways of life, cultural heritage, traditions, and places of interest. The students researched deeper into 3 areas, specifically food, people, culture, traditions, festivities, events and places of interests. They looked into the characteristics of their neighbourhood/region/country. With background information, students designed a 3-day itinerary for a travel journalist reporting on their specific interests. Assuming the role of a travel journalist traveling with the planned itinerary, participants reported on-site and created articles, video or audio for each of the three areas. They were able to review the history and beauty of the destinations, the local culture and the people, as well as festivities or events. |
