Unearthing Gems

Exploring and understanding a place is akin to a journey of uncovering precious treasures, as one will discover a wealth of interesting and meaningful knowledge during the process. In this project, the students with a specific theme in mind took a closer look at a local area of 1 to 2 km in radius. They made discoveries according to their theme and planned out a trail within that area. By the end of the project, they got to know the place well and were able to conduct the trail which showcased the unique socio-cultural landscape of diverse ethnic groups in their home countries. Participants could invite one another to experience the trail. A trail booklet was also produced at the end of the project.
