Why Not Visit My Town?

Nowadays it is difficult to attract a teenager’s attention outside the computer or smart phone screen. However, there is also a lot to see and do besides spending time in the virtual world. This project aimed at encouraging teenagers to compile travel itineraries for their peers visiting their city/ town/ region, picking out the most attractive sights and activities as well as providing information on them. All the itineraries were compiled with pictures and videos, and uploaded on YouTube as well as shared on social media. During this interactive process, students developed a better understanding of different cultures, and young travelers even had the opportunity to follow the itineraries when visiting the home countries of their peers.
