Description |
The second World War is considered the most destructive war in history that lasted from 1939 to 1945. The WoWW2 project focused purely on the conduction and digitisation of oral interviews. Students conducted interviews with eyewitnesses and survivors of the war. Such oral interviews are valuable sources of data because they provide information about daily life in different countries during the war. All interviews have been digitally documented and archived in a web-based database. This project required students to develop knowledge of conducting oral history research in the digital age and to learn more about subtitling and managing the accessibility of these interviews. |
